The 17th Shanxi Provincial Games (Competitive Sports) Athletics Qualifier were held from May 21 to 23 at the Datong Sports Center Athletics Venue. The event attracted nearly 600 athletes from across the province.

The 2025 Liaoning Provincial Junior Athletics Championships & 1st National Youth Games Trials were held from May 20 to 26 at the Binhai Sports Center in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province.

The 2025 Sichuan Provincial University Students' Athletics Championships were held from May 16 to 18 at China West Normal University.

The 2025 Guangdong U-Series Athletics League (Stop 1) was held from May 17 to 18 at the Jiangmen Sports Center Stadium in Guangdong Province. The competition has attracted over 1,100 athletes from across Guangdong, who were compete in intense competition across four sessions.

The 2025 National Para Athletics Championships & Tokyo Deaflympics Trials were held from May 14 to 17 at the Bengbu Sports Center Stadium in Anhui Province.

The 2025 Hebei Provincial Junior Athletics Championships were held from May 14 to 17 at the Qinhuangdao Olympic Sports Center.
